An old man had owned a farm in Louisiana for several years.
He had a large pond way in the back which was well suited for swimming,
and he had fixed up the place real nice -- picnic tables, horseshoes, and
some apple and peach trees.
As he hadn't been there for a while, one evening the old farmer walked
down to the pond to look it over. He grabbed an empty bucket to bring
back some fruit.
As he neared the pond, he heard voices shouting and laughing. As he came
closer he saw it was a bunch of young women skinny-dipping in his pond.
Clearing his throat, he made the women aware of his presence and they all
swam to the far end of the pond. One of the women called out "We're not
coming out until you leave!"
The old man called back, "No need to worry, I didn't come down here to watch
you ladies swim nekkid or even make you get out of my pond." Holding up the
bucket up he said, "I'm here to feed the alligator"
Moral of the story: Some of us old men can still think fast.
