Short skips in audio... not stuttering

I've checked out the threads on the audio stuttering, and I've experienced them myself... the stuttering sounds like Max Headroom and goes on indefinitely until I entire pause the video or skip back.

But what I've noticed tonight is there are short skips in the audio.... For example, tonight I was watching Prison Break on Fox HD over satellite (Los Angeles). During certain scenes where there's background music with a consistent beat, sometimes the audio would skip a beat or the next beat would come early... kinda like a CD skipping. Rewinding doesn't help, that skip is always at the same spot.

The video looked fine though. I'm sort of reminded of how D* would purposely roll the audio back so the audio doesn't get too out of sync. Is the same thing happening here?

I wish I had recorded the same show OTA so I can figure out if it's coming from the station, from E*, or if it's a vip622 problem.

It wasn't just on Prison Break... The episode of House following that had the same problem. It occured maybe twice throughout the entire show.
