I think it is lame that the TMC channels are only available in SD during the freeview. I was hoping to DVR Ed Wood and Inglorious Basterds, but the HD versions are not available during the freeview- LAME.

I'm guessing that's an error and not intentional.

I still have Total Choice Plus.. can i still call a CSR and get the Showtime package added without changing plans? On the website they stay its not possible.

Yes. That's the nuisance of it, you have to call to do it.
