Hmmm, could be a real bandwidth saver. I wonder if anyone has taken a look at the "unique" programming on, for example, Showtime east in any given week. How many hours of hard drive space would you need to download the entire week's offering and how much time on the satellite would be required?
I suspect you could get the whole week's worth of unique programming in 2 or 3 days... SO you need to be able to dedicate about 70 hours or so to Showtime. And if it lets you pick what stuff you want to keep, that would drop down to a handful of hours.

I like a few movies on showtime, but it just doesn't seem worth it for me to have VOD. I would want HBO VOD a lot more.
