Signal loss - no obvious problem

Just wondering - I have the 625 model and it plays recorded shows just fine, but today is showing no signal. I called tech support and they walked me through a few things, but no luck solving it, so I now have a service call scheduled for Sat.

I'd like to try and troubleshoot myself if possible before then. Everything was working just fine at midnight last night, but the first we turned on the TV today there was no signal. There hasn't been any funky weather and the connections seem fine.

Any ideas of what to look for in the mean time?

I just noticed your post.
I assume that the service call was sucessful.
What was the problem?
