Some of my transponders show 100 with the BBC's attached.Veloce said:Whats the maximum I should expect? I see 82% now and remember seeing 85%. I assuming the converters attenuate some and thus 100% would be impossible...
What's a good reading with the converter?

bad BBCs.Tom_S said:I decided to put these on my HR20 even though they are not needed yet because I thought I may lose them in the interim. But, when I put them on I lose my sat signal totally. On both inputs. Do I need to rerun some kind of setup or something or are both of my converters bad?
I think I saw somewhere that these BBCs are directional....try flipping them around.Tom_S said:I decided to put these on my HR20 even though they are not needed yet because I thought I may lose them in the interim. They are directional, but they also have male & female connectors so it's hard to...HateComCrap said:I think I saw somewhere that these BBCs are directional....try flipping them around.
I'm just curious, how did you manage to put them on backwards? Did you attach the male end of the BBC to a wall plate, and then the female end to the coax line going to the receiver?Tom_S said:Yeah, I found that out. While I was downloading 115 I took a closer look at them. So after a couple of colorful metaphors I put them in correctly and now no problems.
Felt too stupid to tell everybody.
