Slim line Question

I know I can't be the first one to ask this question...but I didn't see any previous threads using the SEARCH function...so I figured I'd ask:

What's the extra horn location on the Slimline gonna be used for if anything?

Nothing official has ever been said, though there were some assumptions that the extra slot would be used to bring in the 95 satellite (International Programming).
I HIGHLY doubt that dish would also work on 95 - it would be too large of an arc & that combined with where the LNB would need to be placed, would probably not make it work well enough for 95. If they were planning to do this, they probably would have already made such a dish by now... ;)
My thought is that the space is where the SWM goes in the SWMline and this was designed ahead of time.

I think this has become a "stillborn idea", where it "was for" the 95 SAT, but have never been pursued.

Looking at my SWMline LNB:
it does extend over in this area, but also has what looks like a knockout for where the 95 LNB would mount. [from the center line: the 110 is about 4", & the "blank" is just under 5"]

Even the standard Slimline has a multiswitch built in (a 4x4, I think). There is a thread with pictures showing the Slimline opened up and it's packed with circuitry. The SWMLine probably needs just as much room for its circuits.
