Whats the diff between Slimline 5 and Directv New SWM 5LNB
why am asking because Directv installer told me i got to change my old Slimline5 but did not say why
Dish is the same, LNB is different. For an SWM system, they either need to replace your current 4 output LNB with an SWM LNB, or install an SWM8 or 16 multiswitch. Since the LNB swap is cheaper, they do that when they can.
