I ordered a Sling Adaptor about 3 weeks ago on the Dish site for $29, received confirmation email, credit card charged etc. Waited... waited... nothing arrived so I contacted Dish. The rep said the order wasn't complete but the catch was the price would now be $50.
This feels like a complete switcharoo, has anyone else run into this? Left a really bad taste in my mouth, especially since they said they wouldn't refund the money and only apply it to a new order.

I think you hit the order right when the price increase hit. I'd PM DIRT member if your order was before it went into effect.
I probably did but my order went through, its not the catalog order days where your order winds through mail and multiple departments. They should have just said, 'yep you ordered but there was a problem on our end, let me get that order through for you asap'.
Wait, it's $50 now? Sheesh, guys. Nickel and diming, here. I was just thinking about ordering one, too. I miss the 922's sling and figured it'd be a good father's day present for myself

I seem to recall them being free.......with the rebate.

I also was caught in the "price switch". I have my E-mail from Dish in may and it was shipped May 21st and it that shows the price at 30.00 plus tax. I checked my 6-15-12 bill and I am being charged 49.00.
I sent an E-mail to DishNetwork regarding the change in price and requested my account credited from the difference. I have to wonder how many others were billed the difference and may not even catch that on their bill?

I was about to order one until I saw the price change. It's not worth $50 for the amount I'd use it. Oh well.

Just a follow up on the E-mail that I sent to Dish regarding the price discrepancy on the Sling Adapter. I've been a Dish Customer, and never had any problems previously with service and billing. I was hoping that my 1st E-mail would have resolved the issue. I did reply back and hopefully that will resolve it.
