This is a little esoteric and will only help a few, but I wanted to add it in case someone searches for it.

If you are using a Slingbox with more than one HR20 and have one of them using the alternate IR set (AV2) with the version 1.5 software:

If you upgrade to the new version of the Slingplayer software it will wipe out the alternate IR set. I could find no way to reload it using the new software and the file from this post (http://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dload.php?action=file&file_id=4633).

So...be sure that you have at least one machine that you leave 1.5 on so that after you have flashed your slingplayer with the new firmware and software that you can go back and put it on again with your 1.5 system. Once it is reinstalled it works fine with 2.0.

If anyone has found a way to do it with the 2.0 software I searched but have not found it....

Actually...I have two HR20s and I loaded up the AV2 codes from a file just as I did in 1.5. It has been a few weeks since I did it so I don't remember exactly how I did it, but the file can be loaded from within the setup assistant and then you have to enter the string in as the post you referenced instructs you to do.
