Slow computer when connected to HR20-700's

I had a problem with my HP Vista Premium laptop. I spent hours trying to figure out why it was stalling in all programs and even the start menu would hesitate. I thought I had a virus problem or spyware issue. Finally I turned off the network sharing with both of my HR20-700's. Computer is back to normal. Anyone else had this or am I doing something stupid here? Should I only share with one HR20 at a time or?????

I also noticed this issue a couple months ago but never thought of posting it. The HR-20, when networked, brought our internet access to a crawl (even when nothing was being downloaded to the DVR). Unplugged the wireless bridge connected to the HR-20, other computers much happier. I've reconnected the HR-20 and haven't yet noticed the same problem.

Anyone able to explain why this would occur?
