Check the release notes forum. Update doesn't mean new channels, just new software.

Hi...as the above posters mentioned, if you get an update it is usually to the software inside the unit. New channels and and rearrangement of channels will occur without any indication on the receiver itself, unless you count the guide. However, you can be pretty certain within minutes of getting channels it will be posted on the front page here. Stay tuned, as more channels are on their way and very soon.
