i just drove 2 hours to find a hd20. after swapping out an old reg. box i see you cant intergrate your cable feed like my old hd mits box. will i have to run 4 lines from the at9? thanks

correct. directv doesn't make boxes designed to work for cable. the really strange thing is that the hr20 also makes really bad spaghetti. but it gets hot enough to keep your morning coffee warm if you know exactly where to place the cup. just don't spill any inside or it voids the warranty.

Add directly to your TV. You will have to change inputs to watch it that way, but not a big deal. If your TV doesn't have an input for the cable, run it through a VCR or similar.

Doesn't work too well when you tell it to do the dishes either....

IF you are talking about running a cable from your HR20 to another tv, you would need to purchase a modulator and plug it into the HR20 as it is live and purchase a modulator such as the CP-3015 made by Channel Plus you can purchase at
martek.com for about $54.00...as this will work with the HR20, I was told....
