I have the ability to work 2 or 3 days a week from home soon and I am trying to prepare. Due to the fact I am contracted and strict security regulations the company I do work for is unable to supply me with a soft phone that connects to their VoIP so I have to do this myself. Not willing to spend minutes on my cell phone, I am thinking a VoIP soft phone is probably the best. I will be on the phone an average of 2 to 3 hours a day, mostly calling in to conference call bridge lines using 800/888/866 type numbers

This is what I need and/or would like:

- unlimited nationwide US calling.
- soft phone for windows 7
- preferred iPhone app so I can use my home wifi to make calls, as well as go to a local coffee shop and still make calls on their wifi

Looking to spend about $20 a month flat rate at most. Any area code is fine for my call back number.

I had vonage in the past which worked good but their soft phone and app were clunky 2 years ago.

Any thoughts?
