The other night, when I downloaded 108, I noticed that if I left the room and went to do something else, the download and reset went a lot faster! Try it sometimes.:rolleyes:

Well since the downloades are entire software versions...

Yes, as they get bigger... they are going to take longer to download.

And as of late, you now have an ethernet connection to initilize, OTA tuners to intilize, other things to check... ect...

Now with the ethernet, is there any talk of that being the software download option - if you have a connection seeing as not everyone has one?

No need...
The SAT connection is actually "faster" then the internet would be.

Never would have guessed that seeing as how much the downloads pause and whatnot. Any idea what size a software packet runs?

It pauses because it verifies the sent segments.
