Software Versions

I recently received the 165 software, and today went to my friend's house (who is away for a couple of months) to download it for him too.

We both have identical receivers (501), yet his software version is slightly different from mine.

Mine is P165DCED-N

His is P165DCEK-? (don't remember last digit)

Does anyone know what the difference is? Could it be that his receiver is slightly different, or newer than mine?

the "after P165 part" is irrelavant to just the software version..

What matters is that you are both P165..... - therefore running P165 software...

the rest - i think - has to do with Electronics inside your 501s - Tsop or Eeprom maybe or something...
