I posted a bit about this a few days ago in the general discussion forum. It seems the thought there was this is a solar outage problem and it coincided with the solar chart. BUT last night I lost the signal again, Watching ch 182 HD and all of a sudden no picture and no sound, this lasted for about three minutes. All other channels that I checked were fine at the time. Can this be caused by the "new" solar flare that hit the earth yesterday? I have been having this problem on and of for the past few days. Bad receiver????? The solar outage chart I was referred to in my other post dies not show any outages this late in the month. Any ideas?

Are you getting an error message when you lose the signal - 015, 002, or 535 depending upon the receiver model? Has this been occurring at certain times during the day or anytime? If you go to the Point Dish screen while still on the channel, you can see what your signal strength is at that time on that channel. Please let me know. Thanks..

No error messages at all. Just a black screen for that channel. I haven't tried the point dish screen but I will next time it happens. I have checked at least 6 or so other channels (SD & HD) when this happens and they are working fine. I just did a hard reset (unplug). I keep an eye on it throughout the weekend.
