I just got my Nomad and fired it up. Have it set up with two PCs and an iPhone. All seems perfect, but some shows just don't show up in the Nomad. Most TV series are there, but The Simpsons, Burn Notice, and Spongebob aren't I have at least 2 episodes of each of those, but they aren't there. 666 Park Ave. shows up on iPhone, but not on the PCs. Will that just populate later, or is there a restriction 'm not aware of?

Oh, also, does a show have to be finished recording to show up as available to be transcoded in Nomad? I'm recording the Nets game right now, but it doesn't show up as available. Will it show up when the game is over?

They won't show up in Nomad if they were recorded from off-air channels, or downloaded via OnDemand.

I knew about those restrictions, but I don't have any on demand on the DVRs at this moment, and we don't have over the air service here. We're 60 miles from Reno.

The Nets game did show up, however, and I was able to queue it to send to my ultrabook pc when it finishes recording, so that's really awesome! That's why I got the Nomad in the first place, I was just curious why Burn Notice and the Simpsons would be left out.

The way the nomad and the DirecTV iPad app grab the PlayList is a little different than how the receivers grab the PlayLists from other receivers. There is some quirk where for some reasons it will not grab the entire PlayList from a receiver.

As you noticed though, it sometimes manages to resolve itself.

While I'm at it, are there any keyboard commands for the Nomad PC app? I would like to be able to control it on my bedroom PC with my iPhone (I use a virtual mouse app). It's OK as is, but if I could program in some keyboard commands to the iphone mouse app, it would be better.
