Who cares NFL is way overpriced!
That stinks I would not want to watch any of those games.
Channels 380 and 388 were also on. I believe 380 is still on. Turning on the Bears and Bengals games makes sense since there have been power outages and local channel problems in the area because of high winds from the remnants of Ike (at least where I am near Cincinnati).

Captain Sunshine Strikes again!
Quite a nice gift over this weekend. I just wonder if this is an authorization issue or intentional. The Fox channels are now shut down, but CBS-E is showing Jets/Pats.

Hopefully, SatRacer can let us know if this is something we can expect each week.

Especially since there are at least 5 games a week on free TV (at least here in the NY area). Today I had:

Giants vs. Rams (Fox, 1pm)
Colts vs. Vikings (CBS, 1pm)
Jets vs. Pats (CBS, 4pm)
Browns vs. Steelers (NBC, 8pm)
Broncos vs. Chargers (end of game on CBS)
Eagles vs. Cowboys (monday)

Unless you follow a specific out of market team it's not worth it.

In case you have not heard thats what Sunday Ticket is really for. Why would most people pay $300 a year to watch what they already get for no more money? I live in Oklahoma so I need if to watch the Colts and my wife watches the Broncos. Its either that or be stuck watching the Chiefs and the Rams. NO THANKS!!!!!
I'll have to give those channels a look next week. Maybe I can find my lowly D'fins on another source. I gave up on the ST w/ SF this year (sub since 99) because of the price and principle. HD should be available without calling in and whining to get it "FREE" since I already pay an HD access fee.

Josh has a point but only to a certain extent. He and the wife get their 2 games per week for $300. Quick math works out to about 10 bucks per game if he looked at only those two games. More if he takes into account how many times the Broncos or Indy will be a national game during the season. Not a bad deal if thats what he needs. I was in the same boat until I retired and moved out of Oklahoma. Only so much Cowboys any fan can watch.....or stomach.

Now if they made specific games available in HD or SD at a reasonable price (10-15) or the full slate for a single weekend (25-35) I would jump back in with both feet if I did not already have something going on that weekend. A'lacarte pricing is what is really needed. Whay should the average sub finance options of SF that are useable or required for a minute segment of the audience.

Don't forget, the HD sub market is still small compared to those with legacy SD equipment. No fancy interactive features for them.

Fantasy tracking????
Active content????
ETC........that take multiple seasons to work out the bugs and cost big bucks, and use up precious bandwidth to get to you're set.

D*s next attempt will be to get in game audio for you're favorite team. Comm between the QB/LB and coaches or audio between the bench and the pressbox coaches, etc... Yeah probably some drooling, out of work, sports junkie who has this month's rent riding on the outcome of the game will enjoy it but for the average fan it will mean another increase in the price of NFLST.
