The Reason it was probably a WGN Chicagoland only telecast is because ESPN has National Exclusive Baseball broadcasting rights on Sunday Nights. WGN probably was not granted rights to show tonights game nationally but they could show the game to Chicago.

Why was the WGN telecast Chicagoland Area only? That must be a first.
Thank God we were able to watch this historic Cub game. #2 for me as I was at the Kenny Holtzman No-Hitter at Wrigley.

And Thanks to the Brewers for geting swept by the Philles and for letting us use Miller Park so we could show you how baseball should be played!!!:D :)

I was listening to the game on XM Radio (It was the Houston Announcers since it was technically a home game for Houston). And I had the White Sox game on ESPN so when they broke away from the White Sox game i watched on TV Len Kasper and Bob Brenley on ESPN's Bonus Coverage.

The morons over at Direct TV didnt have a clue - it was listed on Fox Sports Houston but unavailable on MLBEI at the start and then it showed up on Channel 737 but that channel said to the observer - A's at Rangers 1pm to 7pm well it was good until 7pm which was thru 7 innings and then the screen went blank and luckily ESPN broke in for the 9th inning, I called DTV after the 7th and tried to get those idiotic morons to turn the game back on and this stupid moron kept asking me about my system and I was trying to tell them they didnt have to troubleshoot my system that the entire country had been cut off by their moronic system. Why they couldnt figure out that was beyond me. I spent the first two innings trying to find the game, and the last two trying to find a feed, hopefully WGN will reair the game- we know if Comcast reairs it those idiots at DTV will black it out.

But the loveable losers will continue to be losers (not sure about the loveable part). Nice of Bud Selig and MLB to let the Cubs basically play a home game in Milwaukee. That was a fair one.

Anyway, the Cubs better hope they don't play the Southsiders as you can forgettaboutit! Doubleheader sweep against the Tigers tonight and 1 1/2 game lead over the Twins now. :eek2:
