Last night according to the on screen guide NBC - KSL HD had the following schedule
7:00 "Life"

8:00 "Deal....."

9:00 "America's Toughest Jobs"

KSL reversed the 7:00 & 9:00 shows..........not to big of a problem unless your DVR was set BUT THE BIG problem is neither of the "switched" shows had any main channel audio, they did have backgound audio but no voices. All of the commericals during the shows had all of the audio!

"Life" recorded from the San Francisco station had no problems.

But with that said, I have experienced this problem twice in a bit over a year of HD/Dolby Digital recording on my ViP722 (I essentially watch nothing live). Once was on a network show and the last time was on ABCFamily's third part of Samurai Girl which I had to record again (the family was really ticked off). I even checked the RCA outputs this last time and no main channel audio.

I get my locals OTA here in Colorado Springs and have not had any problems with the audio on prime time shows. It's just late night shows like Letterman, Conan and Saturday Night Live that have no center channel information. It was really strange until i figured out that's what was happening. Now it's just annoying. I have done Google searches to find out any information but have not been able to learn anything so far

My wife records Guiding Light at 10AM & Dr. Phil at 3PM on WJZ in Baltimore. A couple of weeks ago, the EPG flipped the two shows for one day and I noticed it was the same way in our local newspaper listings, so it must have been WJZ's error. At least my wife didn't miss anything.

This was on SD, so I don't know if there was any problems with the audio. It could be two unrelated problems.
