Splitting an antenna 3-way

1651 Views 8 Replies 3 Participants Last post by  zuffy
I have the Dish ViP722 receiver. I would like to add a roof antenna, possibly the Channel Master 3010 or the Terk HD-TVS Slim Profile, to the OTA port of the receiver. By the same token, I would like to split the antenna feed to 2 more TVs. I think the total RG6 cable length is less than 150'. ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, CW, MNT, PBS are 7-10 miles away. Do I need a special 3-way splitter, in-line amplifier, etc.? Are the antennas I mentioned OK?

Any help for a newbie would be appreciated. Thank you.

Read my post. I have a 2-way splitter and I loose a lot of signal. You need a Super House Node. Dish has Distribution PDF Charts showing how to install it.
