Does anyone see a problem with splitting the coax to TV2 to a third TV? I understand that both TVs connected as TV2 would display the same programming. These TVs would be in close enough proximity that it will be easy to share the TV2 remote between locations. I assume that if this is OK that the third TV will receive its satellite programming through channel 65, the same as my current TV2.

It is also possible to send TV1 on channel 67 (you pick) with TV2's 65 on the same coax, through the splitter, and the "third TV" can always watch what is in the main room if it doesn't want to watch what is on 65. .That is useful if TV1 is "recording something in the background on TV2".

The Home Distribution connection isn't limited to just TV2, and can go to lots of TV's. The more splits and coax runs, the weaker the signal gets. Shouldn't be a problem to just drive two TVs though.

yep, a simple splitter will take care of you. I actually use a joiner/splitter to combine the outputs of my 721 and both 622's and then split them to all the other TVs in the house and it works great. I'm just using joiner/splitters from Radio Shack.

I have 7 TV's running both TV 1 and TV2 off the one cable out. The signal will degraded the more you split it but I have an amplifier with two outputs one feeding 4 TV's and one feeding 3. I also combine the output from a 508 as well to all 7 TV's. So we can view channel 39 for the 508 signal, 33 for TV1 and 49 from TV2. I have another 622 coming and will replace the 508 with it and have four singals going to all 7 TV's. I love the 622. Can't wait to add the external hard drive.

Yep, we've got 3 TV's connected to our 622. Works great for us because it's fairly unusual for all 3 TV's to be in use at the same time. To me, the ability to output both TV1 and TV2 over coax is one of the best features over the 942.
