This happened to me when 0x10b released nationally. Right in the middle of viewing live TV, bang... reboot.
Those that have Elvis can experience a "random" reboot [once] as D* sends their update [since they don't know you already have it]. Just an FYI.
Should be seen on west coast now.

Sorry for post on my own post.
I was reading another posting last night when it sounded like what I had before so I posted about it.
Maybe I found my first "trick play" reboot, or maybe it's what I posted.
My unit just went through it's first spontaneous reboot since 0x10b went national.
This time I was using the 30 sec slip, but I've been wearing that out for weeks, without a hick up.
If D* is slowly rolling out 0x115, then this could be as I posted, a one time reboot triggered by D*. If it happens again of course this is BS, but it only has happened to me once before.
The FYI here is: "a" reboot like this may not be unusual. More than one would be.

I have had 3 in the last hour.........all during recording playback

1) during a replay of last nights letterman experienced during 30sec slip about an hour ago

2) during 30 sec slip of viewing last nights friday night lights about 10 miutes ago

3) avoiding slip, used ff to get to same spot as in #2 and auto rebooted at that spot...

This sure isn't the "one case" as mine has been so far, & does seem to fit the "trick play" bug. Any buttons FF, RR, etc. seem to be causing that one.

I thought I would test my theory by seeing what software I would get with a forced download.
0x115 is what I'm getting here on the west coast, So it looks like 0x115 is going national [almost].
