Unless thats new I call BS. I watched a ton of Mavericks games last year.mshaw2715 said:You will not receive any except those on tnt, espn/espn2, abc, and nba tv. All other nba games will be blacked out including pre season.
Well I must say that stinks. I look forward to watching the Mavericks games again this year. My FSN channel is FSSW channel 676.say-what said:All games except those on your Regional Sports Network will be blacked out. So if you get FSSW, then you will see any of the games carried on that network except that games may still be blacked out on your designated local RSN due to a team having exclusive broadcast rights.
For example, I live in New Orleans and we have the Hornets. Our designated RSN on DirecTV is Fox SW. I cannot watch any NBA games on Fox SW due to the Hornets having exclusive broadcast rights in my area (the Hornets are on Cox Sports and that's not carried by DirecTV yet), nor can I watch any out of market games without league pass.

All that I meant to imply was that the FSN channels for your area have games on them that are not blocked.mshaw2715 said:You will not receive any except those on tnt, espn/espn2, abc, and nba tv. All other nba games will be blacked out including pre season.
Guess I am just lucky then. No blackouts on HD or SD for NFL Sunday Ticket and alot of NBA Dallas Mavericks, Texas Rangers, and Houston Astro's games on my FSN channel. Sorry to hear about your luck with the RSN. Were you a Sonics fan? Sad to see them go?mshaw2715 said:My fsn doesn't have any nba and in fact, when the sonics were on fsn they were blacked out here in Eastern Washington. So, just because you are in the territory for an rsn doesn't mean you receive any nba from that rsn.
I guess there is a chance I can get both unless my RSN channel changes. I doubt it will just for an NBA team. I noticed when I pucnh in my zip on D* site is says if I keep Premier pack that the sports pack also give me the Fox Midwest but only lists the Cardinals on it for the pro team. That should be interesting to see who does pick up the new team. I had not even thought about that. I hope they go on the Fox Midwest as I want the Mavericks games.mshaw2715 said:Actually, the nice thing is that it means no blackouts in nba league pass for me. However, you will probably get oklahoma city and not dallas anymore. True, blackouts on the sd version of nfl sunday ticket, but my local stations have the games anyway.
Yeah I used it earler. Here are the results.tonyd79 said:Try this link to see what you are supposed to get with and without the sports pack.

The Thunder moving to Oklahoma may change things up... Blackout rules are also territorial for leagues... They want you to see your home teams, so if the NBA decides that you are in Thunder land, they may only allow Thunder games for you and force your RSN to black out Dallas... Not saying they will... but saying they might. Will be interesting to see...joshjr said:I guess there is a chance I can get both unless my RSN channel changes. I doubt it will just for an NBA team. it should all be sorted out very soon. The season will be here before you know it. In a way I wish it was sorted out now so I could make up my mind if League Pass is worth it for me or not. It will happen soon enough I guess.inkahauts said:The Thunder moving to Oklahoma may change things up... Blackout rules are also territorial for leagues... With that said, once in a while they do screw up... I actually flipped by a couple games on my sports pack last year that weren't blacked out that should have been... Nothing consistent though...
If the games are on seperate channels I dont see why I would not get both even if both games were on at the same time. I live well more then 75 miles from OKC and that is how I understood it.mshaw2715 said:Actually it has been decided already 75 miles around Oklahoma City will be Thunder tv territory and Mavericks games would not air on fsn southwest in that area. The rest of Oklahoma would get Thunder games, but would also still receive mavericks games, when the thunder are not conflcting with those games.

I think you are misunderstanding me. Oklahoma City is 195 miles away from me. I would not be part of the 75 mile thing. That would make me think that I would be able to get both games even if they were on at the same time.mshaw2715 said:They would be required to black them out because you are inside the 75 mile territory, however they would be in the clear in nba league pass.
