Hope everyone is doing good..

LAst night, bought a 32"Samsung LCD HD tv for bedroom..curently use a standard receiver there on old Sony Trinitron..I have HD-DVR in another room..considering the same configuration, D*TV is sending me an HD DVR box (don't know which model, will see when it gets here) but aside from that, I think I need a second line into the HDDVR to be able to use the DVR fully..

I have a Zinwell with 8 ports, one of which is open, can I connect a cable to that, run it upstairs to the new box, use a BBC(I think that is correct term) and connect the new cable and the existing cable to it and then run an HDMI cord from box to TV to complete the setup? I think this should work, but only question I have is that if needed, where can I get a good BBC connector? I think that will be needed..

Thanks

If the unit requires BBC's, they will be provided.

I didn't realize that they come with it..that's good..so considering that fact, I should be able to run another cable from the Zinwell box to the BBC and that should take care of my situation then?

Thanks

Yup, run the second line and you should be all set. You can run the DVR with only one line, but you will not be able to record 2 things at once/record one thing while watching another channel.

BBCs are included as required and you can call and get them for free if for some reason they are needed and not included.
