We had never ordered any of the movie channel packages separately,so I signed into our account a few minutes ago and placed an order on this promotion. We are now getting the Starz,Encore,Showtime,The Movie Channel,Flix,IFC and Sundance channels for $11 a month for the next 3 months. That doesn't seem like a bad deal at all,IMO. :)
To get the "2 for 1 for 3 months" deal, you need to click on the yellow "Order Starz and Showtime" link on the page listed in the OP,then sign into your account.

Mark,

I canceled Starz and Showtime 2 days before I found out about this promo. I called the next day to add the promotion and was able to do it no problem. So, maybe there's a couple of day grace period, but it can be done.

Keep in mind that it appears that are not billed 12 dollars a month. i signed up for this a week or so ago and I am being billed the full 23 dollars. When I called in, the CSR just advised me to pay the 11 dollars less when I paid this month. Upon digging into it, it appears that you get billed the full amount the first month and then get credited back the following months. I wish they would just do what they say.

Had the same issue, and quite frankly it made me mad. I didn't want "rolling" credits for three months, knowing that if I cancelled at the end of three months, the likelihood of seeing that final credit was very small.

I believe that in this case it should have been what was advertised... $12, and that's it.

I had a nice conversation with a CSR, and cancelled the offer. After a month of Starz/Showtime, there really wasn't much on that I wanted to watch anyway.

Were you able to get them to waive the 10 cancellation fee? That why I didnt cancel, if I was gonna pay the fee, I might as well keep it for 30 days. I hate when they play games with semantics, and I looked everywhere, I dont see where they tell you this.

I already have Starz, but I called CSR today and politely told them I would like the Showtime for free for 3 months offer anyway and they gave me 3 monthly credits to offset subscription. Gotta love that! :)
