Storing lists on Computer or Web

Have not heard anything like that. I would like a web interface direct into the receivers though like TivoWebPlus, makes managing things so much easier than on screen!

The remote features at present are decidedly one-way in nature. In order to go two-way, everyone would need a phone or Internet connection to every receiver and that's rather much to expect.

I believe that the secret to success for DIRECTV subscribers is likely going to involve figuring out a way to store the guide data on a special USB flash drive similar to saved game cards on game consoles.

I'm not sure what you mean Harsh....I don't have any phone lines or Internet connection to any of my receivers. 4 x HR21's. But I can still use scheduler ok. I guess it downloads info via the satellite.

Agreed you'd need the internet of course to set up things on the website but I don't think you'd need communication coming back from the box.

unless you wipe your sl's off your box and never use the box to set one up, the box would need to communicate with a web service to upload its settings.
if you ONLY use online guide and nothing else you could do that.
