I had my old H20-600 swapped out yesterday for a h21-100, he also swapped the lnb on the dish.. Everything works fine, except when using the previous channel button. When you press the previous button about half the time you get a "searching for Satellite" message.. change the channel up or down and then back or press previous channel again and then again and it works fine.. I called the tech and he said he had never heard of a unit doing this.. ever happen to anybody else..

My H21-100 did that also. Worked ok after doing a "pull the plug" reset for a couple of minutes.

bigbw, go to DIRECTV.com and search for "ext 721". Follow the link to refresh your services. See if that restores your locals.

i did the normal thing and called d*, was on the phone for close to an hour and they did nothing, and then wanted to schedule a service call.. I was lucky as i had the cell number of the tech who brought the new receiver over.. he called d* and it was fixed in 5 minutes.. I thought there was somewhere on the site to do the refresh but could not remember where.. I have it written down now..

he called d* and had them "re-authorize" my locals..
