Remember when the Strikezone channel used to be a DirecTV exclusive and part of the EI package? I believe the last year they offered it was in 2007? They had to drop it when MLBNet went live.

MLB is now bringing this channel back. It is now run and operated by MLBNet and only broadcast on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. A few providers have already announced they will be adding this channel, including Dish.

The question is, will DirecTV be adding this channel? Perhaps Satracer has some insight?

Just got confirmation from Dish support that this channel will be in the multisports pack. Since they do not have EI I would assume that if DirecTV got this channel it will be part of EI and not their sports package. Similar to how RZ is available as part of ST.

The only thing more accurate than a press release is the actual uplink report
