If MLB is pressing for an exclusive agreement, then somebody's subscribers are going to be pissed, and they should not be pissed at the carrier that looses the bidding war, they should blame MLB for going this route with their product.
Perhaps they will be in danger of losing their monopoly protections if they use this narrow minded route.
It's all about the money, and they feel they can get more money like the NFL did. If the carriers refuse to bite, maybe they will cut it out.
