I was just watching a movie on a Showtime channel and all of a sudden the channel switched to 201 a DTV cinema channel. Tried to go to previous channel got a blank channel with no info. Went to guide, that took forever to come up, it's been acting really well since the latest national update. Certain channels were missing. I went into Settings to check and they were unchecked in my list so I started manually checking the boxes again but everything was moving so slowly it was very frustrating. I don't think it's my box this feels like something happened system wide with DTV.

Anyone else have something weird happen this afternoon?

Yep, had same thing happen. It appears to be ok now

can't find the movie I was watching. I've restarted the dvr to help with this, but you're right just before I did the restart the device started speeding up in response to the remote.

I posted the same problem on the HR34 software issues just a little while ago.

Mine changed on its own from 355 to channel 4. When I hit the previous button nothing happened. When I entered 355 into the keypad I got the message "channel unavailable". Finally on the second try it returned me to CNBC. Thought I had a dark shadows type of receiver for a little while there! LOL.

I just had the same thing happen on my HR34. All the channels are back now.

I was watching SyFy and it went blank. Didn't change channel or anything, but anything I tried to do was very sluggish. Switched to the other HR24, same sluggishness.

On the #1 HR24, the guides were all completely gone. No matter what guide I would pick, it said nothing in them. So I restarted that one. After the restart was complete, the 'main' user defined guide was missing many channels. I had to edit that.

Then I went to HR24 #2, guide was not gone, but was hosed a bit. Had to edit that one too.

I haven't looked at my 'movie' guide yet, nor the CIG to see if the issue is in there too. D* must've had a datastream glitch is all I can think of.

"Wild guess" which is the SAT feed had a glitch.
I was watching a Discovery channel and everything instantly went south.
After sorting out some things, the channel was showing some other program and what had been there was gone.

I never got my movie back!!! Now I have duplicate channels ( HD and SD ) showing got to go back into settings and correct all this.
