Tonight my 622 stopped recording events. So I checked - what I found is very unusual.

There is nothing on the "SCHEDULE", yet I have 55 timers listed - but none of the timers are executing.

I have tried PowerSwitch reboot, and power cord reboot - problem remains.

I noticed something earlier - an OTA HD event was corrupted "error 4", but I do not know if this has anything to do with my problem.

1 - Has anyone else seen this kind of problem?
2- any suggestions as to what the correct procedure to recover and get the timers working again?
(FYI - I have mpgs of the problem).

I went into each timer and edit'd/saved. Bit tedious, but it worked.

I've had this happen occassionally in the early days on one of my 942s. Usually the nightly reboot fixes it. Sometimes you can fix it during the day by setting up the nightly reboot to be like 15 minutes in the future and then waiting 30 minutes for it to reboot and then find refind all the programming. (And once it's fixed, be sure to reset the nightly reboot to the correct time.) I haven't had it happen on any of my receivers for awhile, however, and it's never happened on my 622. The 622 is basically the same software as the 942, so I'd think the same procedure would work for it, too.

I saw this once before and it had to do with my guide corrupted. To fix it I did a check switch, which afterwards it downloads a new copy of the guide.

I believe there were some reasonably serious guide data problems at the source on Sunday night, as about half of my channels didn't have any guide data, which caused some of my timers to not fire as well.
