does the promo work for getting standard directv?
if so do the standard dvr's have access to on demand content?
we live in an apt and went to cable 6 months ago so we could have hd and because wife did not want larger dish in bedroom. no balcony access and not allowed on roof or side of building. decided to go back to directv after realizing we could not stand cable and wife didn't care how big the dish was. today was installation day and unfortunately the window interferred with getting hd signal due to width of dish. we know that the dual lnb will work as we had service for almost 3 years.
