As I understand it, Dish tends to support 2 TVs with a 622/722 DVR with one of the outputs being HD and one SD. I've got two HD sets. Since I would be a new suscriber, are there any deals out there that would provide me with two HD DVRs?

Go to the Dish Network web site and compare the 612, 622, and 722:

The 612 Supports one TV - HDTV and SDTV

The 622 & 722 Supports two TVs - one HDTV and one SDTV

https://customersupport.dishnetwork.com/builddish/land.do and go thru the motions of sign up. When you get to the Design tab, Change the 1st TV to be HDTV. Add a 2nd TV and leave it SD, but if you select DVR for either of these 1st two, they are both done with the 1st (722). When you then add a 3rd TV, you'll see the added monthly fee for another receiver, and when you change it to be an HDTV and DVR, it mentions the $99 extra one time fee for the 2nd HD DVR. Notice that it won't let you add a 4th SD TV to be fed from the 2nd HD DVR (which will be the single TV 612).
