I know it's not supposed to be, but both the HR20 and my TV are reporting it's in 1080i and it looks very clear. Although it's 4:3. What gives?

Are you watching on an MPEG4 channel? If so, it is always 1080i or 720p, they don't convert to 480i for SD shows.

The wife and kid are the ones the really like. Hence the reason I'm typing on my laptop while it's on. I wish it was on HBO, because they are always censoring out women's body parts that are falling out of their skimpy outfits

All I have for HD until next Monday (if it stays as scheduled) is OTA and it was on the HD channel in SD when I was heading over to the baseball game.
