I just had more equipment installed today and went up to a SWiM16, and the tech told me it needed a dedicated power line due to the 29V PI. No big deal, one was already run to where we put the PI, but I noticed on the switch the first SWiM channel says SWM1/PWR. I was mainly curious as to why this is? Would this be for a second power inserter? What is the purpose of that?
Just a minor curiosity!

Either one will work for the power inserter(only one required). The way yours is installed is likely less problematic.

Thanks so much, that's what I imagined the situation might be....29V is a lot of power to pass, so having a dedicated one works for me!
