TBS On Demand

Whenever I try to download an on demand show from TBS on Demand (1247) I get an error saying I am not authorized for that channel and to call DTV. Uh, what? I have premiere package will virtually all channels, Whole Home, etc.

Try refreshing your receiver. http://www.directv.com/resend
Nope. Did not work. Still asks if I want to add this channel (1247) to my package.
Probably time to call DIRECTV then.
Is anyone else having this issue. D tells me it is an engineering problem.
Did this problem just start happening today? Apparently there was a major malfunction this morning that caused many channels to be unavailable to most (if not all) users. The problem did not exist at midnight (EDT) last night, but it was present by 6:00 this morning. By about 7:20, it was resolved. I did not look specifically at TBS, but I was "not authorized" for HGTV, Food, USA, TNT, History, TLC, Discovery, and probably others during that interval. A reset did not help, but all of a sudden, the channels started to reappear one-by-one. It took about 20 minutes to recover all of the missing channels in the 200 range.

Considering he started the thread on friday I don't think the issue started today. Unless he has a time machine and decided to go back a few days to post about it early :lol: Just kidding, I miss the dates on posts sometimes too.

My bad. I noticed that the post before mine was from today and assumed that the others were, too.

No problem, just having a little fun with you. No harm intended.
Still having the issue as of today. Note it is for channel 1247 - the TBS On Demand. Still get a you are not authorized for this error message.
It actually asks if I would like to add this channel to my package.
i'm having the same problem on demand 1247.
Just to test, I tried one. It is downloaded as I type. So it is not universal.
I was told it was an east coast thing by DirecTV Sunday when I called and was on with them for about 45 min. Mine is still not working.
