Just got new install of Direct Tv with slimline dish. Before I ordered borrowed an old round dish and reciever to test reception (heavily wooded). Was able to get signal so I ordered Direct TV. Once installed hooked up borrowed reciever and would not work with new slimline dish. Old round dish still setup so hooked backup and reciever works. Any idea why will not work with new dish? Realize this box is active on neighbors account but returned and he has no issues and he is on the 5lnb dish. Have all new recievers now and neighbors was an older Dvr Model. Was thinking of buying an older reciever to add another DVR, but if equipment is not compatible with new slimline that would not be an option.
