i have a ARSL set up to record Mets games and it's set to only record between the 2-625 range, yet it's recording tonight's game on channel 9323? Anyone know why? That isn't even a channel that is listed in the guide.

if i try to manually enter that channel number it gives me a "channel not available" message. very odd.

ahh.. well, i'm watching live on SNY (625).... so i'm glad i didnt' have to rely on my autorecord and be stuck with listening to the chodes on the ESPN broadcast. :)
I live in Philly, and the same thing is happening to me. I didn't have the game set to record, but when I tuned to channel 206 (ESPN), I got the message that the game was blacked out on that channel, and gave me the option to search for it. I clicked on search for it, even though I didn't think it would come up with anything, it said that it found the game on channel 9323, and asked if I wanted to tune to it. I did, and it took me to this channel, which is the ESPN HD broadcast of the game. I cannot tune to the channel any other way, so if I click away, I have to then tune to 206 and let it search for the game again. How is this possible? Is it a blackout loophole?

hehe... too funny that the gamesearch feature is picking up channels in engineering mode.

I would assume it's intentional... ;)
I just tried a normal title search and 9323 does NOT show. Bummer. :p
Just tried it online at m.directv.com, too.....no workie. :( It found the Phillies game, just not on 9323...
Okay, now I can't get back to channel 9323, the gamesearch isn't finding it now. Was this a mistake that I shouldn't have been able to get to this game?

Quite possible, now the cat's out of the bag............... :)
I hate to be the wet blanket here but this has happened to me a few times in the last few months. Using gamesearch, my HR20-700 will grab the game from a channel in the 9000's instead of the normal 600 or 700's. Unfortunately, I think it's just routine and nothing to do with D11.

No, it's been pretty much confirmed that this channel is coming from D11.
