I can't imagine a Consumer Electronics / Media company having a better communications vehicle than DirecTV has in DBSTalk. Thanks to those at DirecTV and all the mods here for your efforts.

You guys saved a lot of phone calls. I was late informing my father of this problem and he called DirecTV. He was told that due to heavy phone traffic that there would be an unusually long wait. He waited for a time and the next recording advised it might be best to call later in the week. He figured the problem must be more than just his DVR and hung up. :)

Great Job DBS and DirecTV. The issue was fixed almost as soon as it started.
