I've talked with John Corn about starting up a simple lock football pool for DBSTalk members. Here's the way it works:

Each week, you pick a single NFL team to win its game that week. If your team wins, you advance to the next week. If your team ties or loses, you're out of the running. The winner is the last man standing.

If two or more players are left standing at the end of the season, or if the last players are all eliminated in the same week, the winner will be the person whose teams have had the combined largest margin of victory.

You may not pick the same team as your weekly lock more than once. For instance, if you pick the Browns this week, you may not pick them again until a winner has been declared and we've started a new session.

For now, let's set a weekly deadline of noon on Sunday, since there are no Thursday or Saturday games until Thanksgiving.

To enter, just post your lock pick for this week in this thread.

It's simple, it's easy, and YOU could be the first DBSTalk Lock Football Pool Champion!! Enter today!!

The easy pick is whomever is playing the Bengals, BUT the Rams just have to win one of there games. I'll pick them this week. They have the Niners and Raiders next, so this has to be the week. Rams by 8 over the Cowboys.

Last week, I would of taken the Falcons. :)

Yeah, what a contest. Rams are in big time trouble. I won't even think about picking them again even if the contest starts over. :) Steelers got extremely lucky. Good games today. Mark me down for whomever is playing the Bengals. Beagals stink!
