From the witty commentary ("Somebody told Lendale White there was food in the endzone") to the fast-paced switching between the best action, is there any better way to watch football?

I'm a new D* sub, so obviously I'm new to Sunday Ticket as well. And after just one week (16 to go!) I'm never looking back. I have to say that if you're not following a particular team the RedZone channel is the most compelling entertainment program out there. No commercials, very little interruption by annoying sideline correspondents, and relevant statistics.

Now if only they would move that "RZC HD" logo up about an inch it would be perfect.

Did anyone else die and go to football heaven yesterday?

I can't live without the RZC, however they screwed up yesterday. They never put the Cowboys game back on, they stayed with half time replays and when the boys kicked off they never switched over. I missed the first 5 mins of the 2nd half because of that!

Oh, bummer. I guess I didn't notice that because by the afternoon games I was on my local FOX affiliate to watch the Cowboys.

Yes, RZC is indeed heaven on earth :)
I only started really watching it halfway through last season
I was kicking myself for not having done so sooner
I usually flip between RZC and the Texans game on the local CBS affiliate for the noon games
If there is another game on that I really want to watch, I will flip to it for a while
When the Cowboys play, I don't watch anything else :D
And to answer the guy above, they usually only show games that are competitive
If the game is a blowout (like yesterday's Cowboys game) they usually stop showing it

Andrew Siciliano does make the RZC better and no commercials is the icing on the cake. As for the Cowboys, we can do without them! My wife is a Steeler fan and I'm a Viking fan! I guess we're living in the wrong area, eh?!?! I went shopping @ Walmart during the Cowboy's game thinking the store would be empty, but apparently a few folks don't care for them either. The place was packed!

We had Sunday Ticket in the past, but this is the first year we have Superfan (primarily because my brother now works for DirecTV...). Being only a casual football fan, I must admit that the RZC is by far the best way to enjoy football, especially if none of the games are of any real interest. I didn't watch much of the channel during the late games, though (I was interested in the Chargers, while they seemed more interested in the Cowboys, at least to start with). The channel apparently didn't carry the second half of the afternoon games (at least the channel was no longer available for me).

RZC is great. I don't think it was my imagination, but the RZC had fake crowd noise added to the broadcast. I don't think I ever noticed it last year, but once I locked into it yesterday, it was driving me crazy. It's guess its more funny/cheesy than being truly annoying. Does anyone else know what I'm talking about?

Loved the Game Mix HD channel as well!

does any one know if they are going to do the RED ZONE EXTRA this year?? that was a cool little ad on that they threw in there last year.

the RZC is football heaven and the SZC is baseball heaven!!!
all we need is an exclusive NBA channel.. :D

I found myself watching RZC more yesterday then I ever have. I forced myself to watch some full games at times because I couldn't bring myself to pay all this money to watch one channel. ;)
What I do is watch the Red zone channel through the 3rd quarter of the games, then watch just the games that are close in the 4th quarter (which were pretty much pats/chiefs, dolphins/jets and saints/bucs early yesterday)

When the red zone channel starts showing highlights, I go watch another game if one is going on.

I should probably mention that I have 3 big screen tv's right next to each other so it is easier to follow everything that is going on. Red zone channel is in the middle and the other two tv's flip around to avoid commercials and blowouts.

on a pft.com blog someone was asking how the titans will use both lendale white & cris brown as far as the # of run carries each gets in the game....so they asked:

"what will the split be between lendale white & cris brown ?"

....& the answer was: Banana !

Yesterday was my first taste of NFLST and SF. RZC is perfect for when you're not following a specific game. I tuned to it during the one oclock games. Yesterday was total NFL Nirvana for me. Wherever NFLST goes... I go.

Yup, they pipe in the fake crowd noise, kinda annoying IMO.

The first couple times I watched RZC last year (my first year) my heart was racing, felt like watching football on speed. It was said perfectly, when your team is not playing it's a great way to watch most of the action.

Just think of it as you ARE watching all the channels, except someone really football savvy has the remote.

I also give props to Gamemix HD. Whenever the game I was watching went to commercial, a quick "prev" to gamemix, see what close game was not in commercial, select it and "boom", I'm there.

Have had NFLST for almost 10 years. First time with SuperFan. I follow the Colts but will be tuning in to RZC when I can. Andrew Siciliano is great and I am totally impressed with the production and coordination of switching games so quickly and the graphics ready to go from one game to the next. I watched the entire 1Pm slate and he very rarely missed a beat.

I recognize the Siciliano names...does he work for NFL Network?

No, he does Gametime Live on Fox Sports Radio.
