Am I the only one this didn't record for? I have it set up on my Prioritizer as #3, and earlier in the week it displayed 2 upcoming episodes. Well, long story short, it didn't record last night's season 5 premier, and now shows no upcoming episodes.

I have been having some DVR-related issues lately (from what I've researched on here related to the Online Scheduler). This really pisses me off, as I've been waiting months for this show, one of my favorite shows  ....

Same behavior here (except not just The Office -- almost all shows). In the Prioritizer, shows that definitely have upcoming episodes all show nothing coming up, so nothing records. THis is causing great grief for me at home (you know the story...)

Any suggestions to fix the ToDo list would be greatly appreciated, before things get REALLY UGLY here at home. -- Ken

Same thing for me, specifically with The Office last night. Interestingly I had it set to record on two DVRs, a R15 in the family room and HR-21 in the Master. The HR-21 failed to record, but the R15 picked it up without issue.

Very odd.

Ken,

This happened to me when DTV converted my locals to HD. I had the duplicate SD channels hidden so when they added the HD locals, my prioritizer was messed up. I had to go cancel all the programs in the prioritizer and reschedule them to record using the new HD Lils.

Hope this helps. :)

Just checked carefully (not the issue converting locals to HD -- that happened a LONG time ago). The issue is that the guide is totally messed up. I went to next thursday to manually set up series recording for The Office -- it's JUST NOT THERE. Instead, the guide shows Access Hollywood or some other show (can't remember) at 9PM on Thursday, where the Office should be. None of NBC's normal thursday shows are in the guide -- that's why the prioritizer shows none coming up.

What's up?

Did you check a few hours on each side of 9:00 for The Office? Is there a chance that the guide is somehow on the wrong time zone? I only ask because it seems to me that Access Hollywood is on at 7ish, not 9.

I think this is the reason:

October 2, 2008: Vice Presidential debate, Washington University, St. Louis, MO

(Joe Biden versus Tina Fey)

I got the fun grey/black recording of it..
Got the same for The Office and ER on NBC and Ugly Betty on ABC. First time in a long time. Bother tuners in operation and the other recordings were fine. Also SD content was fine. MPEG4 LIL's in Sacramento DMA. When there was an image is was attacked by pixelation many times. Happened on HR20-700 and HR21-100.

Exactly. There is nothing on next Thursday at 9pm. CSI's season premier was bumped back to Oct 9th as well.

Out here, the local NBC dropped the HD feed.
I "tuned in" to see a black screen, switched over to OTA and had the same.
Went into setup and got my SD channels to show up and "there it was" letterbox SD.
I don't know if it was the NBC network/feed or just my station, but if I had set it up to record, I too would have been screwed, but this time it wasn't DirecTV.

I had NBC set to record from 8pm-11 pm and everything recorded. No problems here.

People have to remember that watching a show on NBC (or any of the other major networks) is really watching the local station. So while some people could have had problems with Office, others may well not have any problems. So, saying you did not record Office or you did does not tell us much. You have to tell us what local you are talking about.

Any issues with the guide are the responsibility of the local station.
