That made no sense at all...
Did DirecTV promise you your HD-LIL by now? They didn't promise me mine by now...

Not all DTV subscribers had the chance to view the Opening Ceremony in HD.Alan Gordon said:![]()

That doesn't change the fact that they never promised anything. So you post is a little misleading.cajunbug said:Not all DTV subscribers had the chance to view the Opening Ceremony in HD.
They did? Of course you have proof of this promise, correct? Until then your point is moot.cajunbug said:of course they did. they do it every day.....promise, promise.
Not all DirecTV subscribers cared about the Olympics, or HD either. What's your point?cajunbug said:Not all DTV subscribers had the chance to view the Opening Ceremony in HD.
Do you have a link to where they promised you your HD-LIL?cajunbug said:of course they did. they do it every day.....promise, promise.
As have we. In fact we 8 of them carried in HD by direct.say-what said:DirecTV never promised to launch any channels prior to the Olympics..... don't see how they can fail to do something they never promised to do in the first place.
As for the OP, New Orleans has had HD-LIL's for over a year now, we got to see the opening ceremonies in HD.
I am not referring to the recent launch of d-11, but to their continued marketing over the last year or so of "working" to deliver......DodgerKing said:There were no promises of any lil's today or this weeks. In fact most are supposed to be launched within the next few months. They have said this and have never said anything different.
So IOW you have no proof of a broken promise?cajunbug said:I am not referring to the recent launch of d-11, but to their continued marketing over the last year or so of "working" to deliver......
I am just saying that they could have had a big delivery tonight if they had got it right!!
And if they would have been able to light up the nation with LIL HD then I bet they would have been able to say...."Hey, look at us.....we got Olympics in HD for every channel for everybody who wants it!!"""
And that would have been a big marketing hit.
They could have provided FREE TV service to everyone as well, and that would have been a BIG marketing hit as well. Every day they fail to do this is a missed opportunity...cajunbug said:I am not referring to the recent launch of d-11, but to their continued marketing over the last year or so of "working" to deliver......

We agree on that! :lol:Alan Gordon said:They could have provided FREE TV service to everyone as well, and that would have been a BIG marketing hit as well. Every day they fail to do this is a missed opportunity...

The launch of D11 has everything to with it. DirecTV can't magically give everyone their locals. To deliver them, they need the satellite space, which until very recently they didn't have. They are doing exactly what you claim they advertise, "working to deliver."cajunbug said:I am not referring to the recent launch of d-11, but to their continued marketing over the last year or so of "working" to deliver......
