It was on the bubble but CBS decided to bring it back and I am glad they did.

I can only hope that the trend of crappy Season Premieres (at least in my eyes) doesn't extend past tonight. There is a lot of season premieres upcoming in the next few weeks which the wife and I both like. If the trend of this past week continues, my wife might want to spend the time talking about something like feelings or worse... :eek2:

Was looking forward to it also. But even though we watch Cold Case, I was a little puzzled to see The Unit placed in the time slot following it and placed opposite Sunday Night Football (Philadelphia Eagles at Chicago Bears) in at least two time zones. If it was "on the bubble" before because of ratings, I don't see how this will help it survive. Cold Case has its own "cult-like" audience, but they don't seem like an audience for The Unit.

I think CBS is hoping to use Cold Case as a lead in. The show should see an increase once football season is over.

I'm glad that they did keep it, but with the time slot they placed it at. makes me wonder if the bubble is still floating around or not about getting canceled?

This show shines in the 5.1 surround department.

If you don't have a surround system yet, now would be a great time to invest in one.

Even my cheap 5 year old bargain basement "$200 w/speakers" system was pretty good.

Looking forward to watching with my new HDMI switching receiver.
(still the same speakers though, for now)

I would. WTF. Some state you can get away with it, if you catch them together. Otherwise just make sure they don't find the bodies.

i have watched this show since the pilot. love it. should be interesting this year.

anyone watching the HD version, did you have any audio problems? mine seemed like the vocals were alot lower than music and sound effects. made it hard to hear sometime.

No problems on this end but I will go check out the recording again just in case I might have missed something.

Same here but I also recall it being a problem last year too. Also difficult to compensate for since the music / sound effects are also coming from the center channel.

Great start for the season. I missed where these terrorist were from and why the team is on the way to Sarajevo, Bosnia.

*personally, I don't think she is a mole. I think she is going to play a very important part in this season though.

Great show!!! Great season premier!!!! I had a problem though. I set my HR22 to record 15 min later on Cold Case AND The Unit. Cold Cas record the 15, But I had to catch the last 15 of the Unit online. Then....when I went to CBS,com the vid wouldn't load. It said that it was no longer available. Some left a link to MegaVideo, lousy a** pic and sound. Love the song too any one no a full version anywhere?
