Thinking about upgrading to HD package and HR20

A few questions...

First and foremost: Does anyone know of any special offers from DirecTV offering a discount on upgrading to the HD DVR? I'm not looking for a free upgrade but something in the $150-$200 range would be nice (excluding rebates).

Second - I only want HD in my living room (as it is my only HDTV). The TV in my bedroom is a few years old and standard definition. Will I still be able to use my current R15-500 with the 5LNB dish? I have no desire to upgrade that set to an HD display for at least another year or two.

Third - While browsing DirecTV's programming packages on their website, there seems to be a lack of information about what exactly is included for the $9.99 HD fee. Are there HD package tiers or just one all-inclusive option. Also, I am currently a "Total Choice Premier" subscriber, are HBO and Showtime the only premium channels available in HD on DirectTV? Furthermore, would those be included in my HD package?

1) There isn't really anything official, call D* and see what you can work out, $200 definitely seems doable

2) Older receivers should work fine with the 5LNB

3) HD package is Universal HD, HDNet, HDNet Movies, Discovery HD, TNT HD, ESPN 1 & 2 HD. HBO HD and Showtime HD I believe come along if you have either of those packages, not required to have the HD package. Same with the local HD channels, you get them just for having locals as part of your programming package, HD package is not a requirement for them.

Premier is the highest level package right (aside from platinum)? I believe the HD package is included in the premier package.
