Hello everyone, new here so please bear with me. I have been a D** user for several years and have been 98% happy with them. Yesterday I called and ordered the HD service. I was a little unhappy because they said it would be the first of Febuary before they could get here. But then last night I discovered this forum. All I can say is WOW! Now I'm not sure its the right time to upgrade. Like I said we have had very little problem with our service, Tivo works great and we have been happy. So I'm asking what would be best, should I wait to upgrade, or is it worth the frustion to make the plung? The main reson I was thinking of switching is for the Superbowl of course, but there will be more. Thanks in advance, I look forward to hearing your opions.

The main reson I was thinking of switching is for the Superbowl of course,

I guess that would be a reason for switching if:

1) You cannot receive a local CBS affiliate OTA and
2) You have confirmed that you can receive CBS in HD via Dish

Edit - I was assuming you meant switch to Dish since you posted this in the Dish forum - but after re-reading your post I am not certain if you were really just referring to upgrading to HD on D*...either way, thought process is the same.
