Do I need to shutdown thr22 first? Then unplug esata drive, restart thr22?
Does the esata get powered down then or can it be left on ?
I just setup antec enclosure with Seagate ST1500DL003...But still have a few shows left to watch. so far all's well no stutters.

Power down the THR22, then swap. You can leave the disk powered up.
