THR22 wireless connection help

I don't know if this has been discussed or not but I cant get my new thr22 to work with my wireless router for on demand. I called directv and they have indicated it only works with a wired connection. They gave me the cinema connection kit when they installed the receiver. I don't have a wps router its a linxsys wpa. Not sure if that makes a difference. If anyone has figured a work around I would love to hear about it. It wont even connect to my wireless network. I have tried and then called and they told me you cant connect wireless to the tivo box. I just have a hard time believing it. should I get some sort of adapter?? the wlan light is off but the power light is steady and the activity light flashes. The cck doesnt show on my dhcp address on my linksys router. Hope someone can help. Thanks

I don't understand, what wireless adapter were you trying to use? The CCK will work but it's not self-configuring like it is on the Hr2x. If you have another DVR you configure it with that one and then move it.
The wireless connection kit from DTV is not compatible with the TIVO unless you have another HDDVR or HD IRD that it can be configured on 1st.
Or configure it by connecting to your PC first.
My tivo is working with a wireless connection. I'm using a Trendnet Tew-64MB bridge with a Netgear router. It works quite well. I just connected the router and bridge. The tivo did the rest of the set up. I even have the bridge connected to my Oppo dvd player.
It works now. I connected the cck directly to my wireless router and configured it . Now I am just waiting on the 7000 on demand shows to show up. Its my understanding it takes 24 hours . Right now I only have ppv. Thanks to all

Prepare to be disappointed
Hey guys,

I'm experiencing this problem as well (trying to get my CCK to notice my WRT54G router). From what I read above, a work-around is to hook it up directly to my router, and configure it there first.

Okay -- noobie time. How do I configure it? Just connect the two devices via ethernet cable, and push the button on the back of the CCK? Or is there something I need to do specifically within the router gui?

Sorry.
I'm having the same problem with the thr22. I have the cinema kit and it's receiving the signal from my netgear router, but I can't get connected with directv on demand. It seems to start downloading but it just says error. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks jer
